This LEGITIMATE illness is not to be confused with Tiling Apathy, which has also struck swiftly and severely this weekend.
I will not be firing up the tile saw until the mucus departs.

I hope you feel better soon! Drink lots of hot tea and stay warm!
Thanks! Do you have a tip for the Apathy? :)
Dear Rebecca:
I am a magazine editor browsing blogs for completed bathroom projects. So naturally I read your whole thread on the subway tile project. I am so impressed! We partially demolished the simulated tile walls in the upstairs bath in our 1923 Colonial Revival soon after moving in (this was years and many houses ago). (A day of work that pretty much demolished me.) A friend swapped us a 20s tub for an old apartment fridge and counter and even helped us install it. But I took FOUR YEARS of baths in that tub before we finally got a contractor in to finish off the room. You may have a cold now, but you also have PERSERVERANCE. I'll keep tabs on your progress. BTW, the mag is ARTS & CRAFTS HOMES, and you can reach me at mepolson@artsandcraftshomes.com
